2002 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Red Wine ** Deep ruby. Gorgeous forrest floor on the nose. Evergreen sap, licorice, butterscotch, and currants. Wow. Tight opening with good structure, not too heavy, nice mouth coating texture and a pretty long finish - probably 45 seconds before it escapes. This wine is drinking really beautifully right now, but it will be interesting to see what it's like in 3-4 years too. 2 stars.
